GES begins 2020 recruitment of university graduate teachers

The Management of the Ghana Education Service (GES) has opened the GES recruitment portal for the recruitment of graduate teachers from various universities to submit an application for employment into service.

According to the Education Service, applicants who wish to apply should meet the following criteria:

I. Must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Education
II. Must have completed National Service
III. Must have passed the Teacher Licensure Examination
IV. Must be prepared to work wherever posted.

The Service in a statement shared with Georgeweb.org indicated persons who do not meet all the four criteria Persons stated above need not apply, and will not be shortlisted if they apply.

“Priority will be given to graduates with a degree in high demand subjects. (eg: Early Childhood. French. Sciences. TVET etc)”, it stated in the statement.

Qualified applicants are entreated to complete the application form on gespromotions.gov.gh and upload the relevant certificates by November 30.

The Ghana Education Service (GES) further said applicants are to not that it reserves the right to post recruited teachers to where their services are needed.

It added that “this recruitment exercise is not applicable to the existing staff of Ghana Education Service, who wish to change their posting”.

The Education Minister in an interview monitored by Georgeweb.org disclosed the recruitment portal will be open to graduate teachers from various universities to submit application on November 2, 2020.

“From Monday, November 2, 2020, the recruitment portal will be reopened for another 6,500 university graduates to be employed”, NAPO announced.

  2. Aww, hmm, so when will ges acknowledge we the diploma holders?😭😭😭. Me mpo I’m taired. It’s best to send my certificate for boflot anaa nkate bowe koraa.
