Ghana’s Education Minister, Dr Matthew Opoku has been described as a ‘confused man’ on social media for saying the Ghana Education Service (GES) will before December 7 post the last batch of Diploma holders.
Speaking in an interview with Wontumi 101.3 FM on December 2, monitored by Georgeweb.org, the Minister in charge of Education disclosed that last batch of Diploma holders will be posted by the close of this week.
“The last batch of Diploma students, God willing by the end of this week will be posted”, NAPO told host of Wontumi Morning show Nana Asiedu.
But, some concerned Ghanaians following Dr Matthew Opoku Prempeh’s comment on social media has expressed disappointment and described him as a confused Education Minister.
According to them, the 2019 batch is not the last batch for a diploma program in various Colleges of Education
“Confused minister, so we are now the last batch of diploma holders. No wonder”, a graduate said on social media.
“This our so-called Education minister is just ignorant about the things in our education system. Someone should tell him that the 2019 batch is not the last batch for a diploma program in our colleges”, another added.
We have been told that the last batch are yet to commence their one-year mandatory National Service.
