Ghana’s current Minister for Education and Member of Parliament for Manhyia South Constituency, Hon Dr. Mathew Opoku Prempeh is reportedly on self-isolation at the University of Ghana Medical Center (UGMC) in Accra after being suspected to have tested positive for the virus.

His self-isolation follows a voluntary COVID-19 test he took at the same centre on Monday evening after he returned from the Manhyia South Constituency.

The Education Minister as a medical doctor decided to undergo the testing after he reportedly showed similar symptoms of coronavirus hence self-isolation at the same hospital.
