Dr Patrick Kuma-Aboagye who announced this at the bi-weekly press update by the Ministry of Information Thursday, July 31 monitored by Georgeweb.org said the delayed in vacation is to allow health service assess and trace contacts of cases before their students dismissal home.
The Director-General said as the form 2 Gold tracks students end their academic activities after President Akufo-Addo announced for schools to be reopened to them, the Ghana Health Service has put measures in place to discharge them to their various homes.
“Senior High Schools (SHSs) that have not recorded any COVID-19 case can vacate and go” he noted
