Schools in Ghana to reopen mid-January 2021

Schools in the country will fully reopen for the 2021/2022 academic year mid-January this year, a stakeholder in the education sector has told Educationweb.com.gh.
According to the source, schools are likely to reopen on January 19, 2021, for students in first-year Junior High School and Senior High School.
Asked if there will be a semester run for students in Junior High Schools (JHSs), the source said the government has not decided that yet.
“Nothing of that sought has been discussed”, he told Okyere Darko George
The Government of Ghana (GoG) is however expected to make an official announcement about the school reopening in the coming days.
