The University’s first (virtual and in person) graduation ceremony will be held for all final year postgraduate and undergraduate students who have successfully completed their academic programmes of study during the 2019/2020 academic year.

The University of Professional Studies (UPSA) in a blogpost on it official website said the decision for the 12th congregation ceremony to be held virtually is amid the outbreak of the locally transmitted coronavirus and the government’s restrictions in public gathering.

It explained that while the graduands who attained First Class will join the Chairman of Council and selected members of Management and Convocation present in the New Auditorium, all other graduands and well-wishers will participate in the ceremony via Zoom and live video streaming.

According to management of UPSA, the link to Zoom and live video streaming of the ceremony will be sent through the email addresses of registered graduands.
