Constitution Day: Gov’t declares January 7, 2021, public holiday
Ghana’s Interior Ministry has declared Thursday, January 7, 2021, which marks ‘Constitution Day’ a statutory Public Holiday.
The Ministry in a statement copied to Educationweb.com.gh urged the good people of Ghana to observe the day as a holiday throughout the country.
“The general public is hereby reminded that Thursday, January 7, 2021, which marks ‘Constitution Day’ is a statutory Public Holiday and should be observed as such throughout the country”, it stated.

Educationweb.com.gh also understands that there will be an inauguration ceremony on the same day for the President-elect, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.
