“GES post us before it becomes too late” – 2017, 2018 CoE graduates cries out
Newly trained teachers who completed Colleges of Education in 2018 and 2019, passed licensure and finished National Service has petitioned the GES to as a matter of urgency release their postings before December 7, 2020.
The teacher’s appeal comes after the Management of the Ghana Education Service (GES) announced in a statement shared with Georgeweb.org it has released the postings of 2019, 2018 and 2017 newly trained teachers.
But, unfortunately, the majority of the qualified teachers who completed College in 2018 and 2017 with all the necessary requirements postings were not released as advertised by the Education Service in the earlier release.
“For us who completed Colleges in 2017 and 2018 if we check what we see is sad the system greets us with a notice like “sorry you have not been posted”.
“Please I have all the requirements but not posted”.
“Please I have bought an evoucher for posting and it was invalid and I have to buy another one before it could work but I was not posted. Please can you kindly refund my money to cause I don’t have any penny with me again?”.
“They should therefore post us before the close of today before it becomes too late but if they become alcoholic power-drunk they would surely become intoxicated”, a graduate said in our comment section.
We have been told the Management in due course would release the second phase of the postings, probably before the Election Day on December 7 2020

The Service, however, has said all trained teachers with peculiar challenges on the training college postings should send a mail to info.ges.gov with their details including Index Number, NTC, NSS and contact for assistance.
