The 2021 BECE for School school placement of Junior High School (JHS) students who sat for the just-ended national examination has been released, a staff of the Ministry of Education (MoE) told EducationWeb on Friday.

The release of the much-awaited placement comes after the deputy spokesperson for the Education Ministry, Yaw Opoku Mensah Thursday told journalists the school postings are to be expected today Friday, March 26, 2022.

According to the Education Ministry official, out of the 571,892 candidates who sat for the examination, 555,353 qualified for school placement. 367,811 candidates he said have automatically been placed into various schools.

“This means a total of 187,542 qualified candidates will have to do self-placement to select from available schools since they could not be matched with any of their choices,” the staff of the Ministry of Education explained on Friday.
