Ghana’s former Education Minister, Hon Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa has donated four latest editions MacBook Pros and a cash prize of GHS5,000 to the contestants of the 2020 winners of the National Science and Maths Quiz.
Three boys schools namely Adisadel College, Opoku Ware School and the Presbyterian Boys’ Secondary School competed for this year’s NSMQ trophy
However, the organizers of the most-watched television Quiz programme after several stages in the national contest pronounced the Accra-based Presbyterian Boys’ Secondary School as the winners of the competition.
The six-time champion had 36 points and was given GH¢10,000 cash prize as winners of the 2020 National Science and Maths Quiz competition among other packages
The Member of Parliament for the North Tongu Constituency, Hon Sameul Ablakwa in a social media post sighted by Georgeweb.org congratulated the 2020 Odade3 National Science and Maths Quiz Champions.
He disclosed that four latest edition MacBook Pros and a cash donation of GHS5,000 was presented to the lead contestants of the PRESEC, Legon.”I gladly and humbly made a presentation of four latest edition MacBook Pros to the lead contestants and a cash donation of GHS5,000 for the team”.
“Your exploits have made us all proud. May generations continue to be inspired to accept that greatness is achievable with determination and belief in God”, the former Education Minister encouraged.
