The Students Representative Council of the University of Cape Coast as the 2021/22 academic year begin on January 8, 2022, has urged fresh students to watch out for SMS notices from UCC to confirm their admission to the university.
“All fresh students for the 2021/2022 academic year are to be informed that the University of Cape Coast (UCC) Management has begun sending out SMS notices confirming their admission to the University,” it said on Monday.
The Students Council in a statement copied to EducationWeb.com.gh said students who have not yet received the said SMS should exercise patience as the Management is working to reach out to every qualified and eligible student.
“Students are to note that the University does not work with any third parties in admitting students. Therefore students are entreated to disregard any information that requires payment of money to third parties,” the SRC stated.
The UCC SRC continued that “newly admitted students for the 2021/2022 academic year, which begins on January 8, 2022, should be aware that the deadline for paying their admission fees is before December 17, 2021.
