The Ghana National Petroleum Commission (GNPC) is offering Ghanaians a fully funded scholarship to pursue further studies abroad. Explore the full details of below:

The scholarship will cover all expenses related to tuition, accommodation, and upkeep. However, the applicant must be pursuing a Masters degree or PhD program. The applicant must be a Ghanaian. For Master’s applicants one must be a holder of at least a second-class first degree and a relevant postgraduate qualification for PhD applicants.

Interested applicants must fill the application form on the gnpc foundation website from 19th to 25th July 2021. Click here to fill it. The required documents for the application include; Admission Letter, Degree Certificates, Letters of Recommendation, Research Proposal, Passport picture, and a National Service certificate. Interviews are scheduled for 2nd -6th August 2021.

GNPC Foundation Scholarship Details

Applicants seeking sponsorship for online studies are ineligible. Interviews will not be conducted in person due to the coronavirus pandemic and its related protocols.

Persons pursuing STEM-related courses will be prioritized. Applicants holding offers from tuition-free universities, lecturers from public tertiary universities, and persons with disability will be given special preference.
