Cade McNamara Biography

Cade was born on May 28, 2000, to Gary McNamara, a baseball player who was the center fielder at Fresno State and worked as an assistant coach for the Nevada Wolf Pack baseball team.

Cade decided to play baseball as an infielder and pitcher while at high school, but he quit baseball to focus on football.

In 2015, while at Damonte Ranch High School in Reno, Nevada, he became the school’s starting quarterback as a freshman. He set records with 12,804 passing yards and 146 touchdown passes. He was the Gatorade Player of the Year for Nevada in both 2017 and 2018.

Career

He will go on to play for Michigan. During his first game at Michigan against Wisconsin, he threw a touchdown pass to Mike Sainristil and then threw for a two-point conversion. Most recently, on December 16, 2021, he had signed a deal with an apparel company led by Tom Brady
