The West African Examinations Council (WAEC) has published the names and index numbers of some 13 persons suspected to have been engaged in examination malpractices during the 2019 edition of WASSCE for private popularly known as Nov/Dec.
The Council said the 13 suspects are to visit the Accra Office of the West African Examinations Council (WAEC) between August 26 to August 28, 2020 to clear their names respectively.
The non-profit-making organization in a public notice sighted by Georgeweb.org indicated the invited persons are to assist the Council to conclude its investigations into alleged misconducts on their part during the exams.
According to the Examination Council, candidates refusal to honour the invitation shall not prevent the WAEC from making a final determination in the incident.
The 13 suspected persons are; Kwayie Danquah Ama, Addison Owusu, Ernestina, Portia Armah, Aidoo Janet Danquah, Kwateng Pamela, Lilian Debrah Mensah, Ansah Kwaku Isaac Asempa and Spendlove Ahyemang Duah.
The rest are; Agbeko Ebenezer Kobena, Adimah Elizabeth, Cobbina Aaron, Addaebi Ishmael and Cobbina Clement.
