UPSA announce new dates for 12th Graduation Ceremonies

The Management of the University of Professional Studies, Accra (UPSA) has announced new dates for holding its 12th congregation ceremonies following the President’s lift of restrictions of a number of persons who can attend awards event subject to observing the necessary coronavirus safety protocols.
The University earlier announced to hold its 12th graduation ceremonies virtually via the popular video conferencing platform ‘Zoom’ amid the outbreak of the locally transmitted coronavirus and ban on public and social gatherings in the country.
However, His Excellency Akufo-Addo in his recent nation’s address indicated that an unlimited number of persons can attend award events subject to the maintenance of physical distancing, fresh air ventilation of premises, and a two-hour limit.
The Management of UPSA following the government’s directive has scheduled to award degrees and diploma certificates to persons who have successfully completed their programmes of study in the 2019/2020 academic year on campus for all graduands on September as follows:

As part of efforts to support the government in the fight against the novel virus, UPSA entreats graduands to wear face masks in order to be allowed entry into the auditorium as well as at all times while on campus premises.
