A Presidential candidate in the 2019 University of Ghana Students Representative Council election, Anthony Kwame Julius has been elected as the General Secretary of the National Union of Ghana Students.

He beat his only contender, Alexander Justice Adigbli by 200 votes.

According to provisional results, Julius polled 492 votes against Justice’s 292.

Other winners in the elections are Grace Bediako for the Secretary for Women Development office, Akwasi Sarpong as Finance Secretary, and Afrani Kesse as Secretary for Innovation, Entrepreneurship, Science and Development.
