Unfortunately, students of the University of Ghana (UG) will not vote this year to elect new executives for its Students Representative Council, the spokesperson of the General Assembly of the SRC has said.

According to the spokesperson, the General Assembly has called for Article 25 of the SRC constitution, which states what must be done when it is seen that circumstances will not permit to hold elections in a particular academic year.

The SRC therefore in line with Article 25 of the constitution will appoint interim SRC leaders to lead the Council for the 2020/2021 academic year.
