UG reappoints Prof. Ebenezer Oduro Owusu as Vice-Chancellor

The management of the University of Ghana (UG) has repeatedly reappointed Professor Ebenezer Oduro Owusu as the Vice-Chancellor for the University.

Professor Ebenezer Oduro Owusu second term in office takes effect from August 1, 2020, till he retires on July 31, 2021, from the University of Ghana

The decision to reappoint Professor Ebenezer Oduro was considered at a University Council meeting held on June 25 and June 30 this year.

He was first appointed as the Vice-Chancellor for the University of Ghana (UG) in 2016 where he took over from Prof. Ernest Aryeetey.

Before his appointment as Vice-Chancellor for the University of Ghana, Prof. Ebenezer Oduro Owusu was serving as the Provost of the College of Basic and Applied Sciences at the University.

At the same time, the University has appointed Professor Felix Ankomah Asante as the Pro-Vice-Chancellor in-charge of Research, Innovation, and Development.

The newly appointed Pro-Vice-Chancellor term in office takes effect August 1, 2020, Professor Felix Ankomah Asante takes over from Professor Francis Dodoo.
