UG gives deadline to tow abandoned vehicles off campus

The authorities of the University of Ghana (UG) in line with the Physical Development & Municipal Services Directorate will on October 17, 2020, towed all abandoned vehicles from its campus, Legon SRC has announced.
The spokesperson of the SRC in a statement shared with Georgeweb.org advised students and members of the university community who have their vehicles on campus to take immediate steps to get them off on campus.
According to Aikins Opoku, the University authorities in collaboration with the Legon Police after the deadline will tow all abandoned vehicles to the Legon Police Station.
“Students who know people who own vehicles that are still on campus are entreated to convey this important information to them accordingly to forestall future misadventures”, the SRC said in the statement.

The spokesperson furthered that “the Public Relations Office remains committed to bringing the University Community to terms with all developments that may surround this issue”.
