TTAG threatens ‘demo’ over delay in release of trained teachers postings
Teacher Trainees’ Association of Ghana (TTAG) following the delay of the trained teachers postings has given Ghana’s Education Service up to Wednesday, December 2 to post 2017, 2018 and 2019, college graduates.
The Association in a statement shared with Georgeweb.org has petitioned the Ministry of Education and other stakeholders associated with the postings to as a matter of urgency fast track the release of the postings.
“The newly qualified teachers who have undergone the one year mandatory National Service, acquired the provisional teacher license certificate from NTC and successfully completed their one-year probation and induction service are highly frustrated”, it said in the statement.
It, however, threatened that should the management of the Ghana Education Service not release the trained teachers postings in the next two working days there will be a mass protest from teachers nationwide.
