Following the appeal from stakeholders and the general public, the West African Examinations Council has reportedly released the withheld WASSCE results.
“WAEC has released my pipo’s results. Hon. Napo, you too Thank You. I am told you piled pressure on WAEC after we petitioned”, Mr Kofi Asare stated.
The Executive Director, Mr Kofi Asare following the release of the results on social media thanked the Education Minister, Dr Matthew Opoku Prempeh for the pressure he piled on WAEC after his outfit petitioned the Council.
He, however, cautioned that “under no circumstances should the Examinations Council ever withhold any results after releasing some; you either release and announce cancellation on the same day or release all at once.
“No student should ever suffer for WAEC’s investigative inefficiencies which leads to the protracted release of results at a time admissions for the said year are over”, the Executive Director for civil society group added.
