NTC announces September 2020 Teacher licensure exams date

The National Teaching Council (NTC) has scheduled for the September 2020 Ghana Teacher Licensure Examination (GTLE) to commence from Thursday, September 24, 2020, to Friday, September 2020 across the country.
The Council announced the examination date in a statement copied to Georgeweb.org indicating it has opened the registration for the September 2020 Ghana Teacher Licensure Examination (GTLE).
It stated that candidates must hold a Diploma in Basic Education (DBE), Bachelor of Education (B.Ed), Post Graduate Diploma in Education (PGDE), M.Ed or higher degree in Education to qualify for registration which ends September 9, 2020.
Candidates are also requested to check their confirmation status before proceeding to purchase a voucher at any GCB Bank branch nationwide from August 24, 2020, for the online registration.
The National Teaching Council (NTC) has arranged for candidates writing three papers to pay GH¢220, candidates sitting for two papers to pay an amount of GH¢200 and those for one paper to pay GH¢100 respectively.
It entreats unconfirmed candidates to contact their completed or awarding institutions to have their details sent to NTC for confirmation.
Candidates are to note the National Teaching Council (NTC) will not accept any request for change of photograph and personal identity after the examination.
According to the Council, it will not extend the registration period after the deadline which is September 9, 2020. Candidates can check their examination centres on the exam registration portal.
