The Deputy Minister of Education, Dr Yaw Osei Adutwum on behalf of the Ministry of Education (MoE) has commended all persons associated with the conduct of the just-ended 2020 BECE for School Candidates.
The Education Minister as part of efforts to ensure smooth conduct of the national examination toured some BECE centres in the Ashanti Region to get first-hand information on the ongoing exams.
The Teaching Minister on social media said “candidates writing at Akyinakrom were elated seeing me and shared with me some of their experiences in writing first-time external examinations”.
“Those writing at the St. George’s Senior High Technical School, Kuntenase, were optimistic of good results. The Jachie-Pramso SHS Centre had enthusiastic candidates writing their last paper
“In all, I could see candidates’ readiness for higher heights as they sat quietly and busily writing their papers under strict COVID-19 prevention protocols”, he added.
The Member of Parliament for the Bosomtwe Constituency commended the various supervisors and invigilators as well as the security personnel at the various centres for the good job done.
