The Management of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) has arranged for graduands who will be awarded various certificates at its 54th virtual graduation ceremony to pay at least GH¢250 in cash.
The Kumasi-based KNUST in a blog post on its website sighted by Georgeweb.org indicated the GH¢250 should be paid at the following banks in the country; Ecobank, GCB, UBA, GT Bank, Cal Bank, Republic Bank, ABSA Bank, CBG and Standard Chartered Bank before Friday, September 11, 2020.
According to KNUST, the GH¢250 graduation fee covers Congregation Publications, Graduation Medals, Certificate Holders, University Souvenirs and Administrative Costs.
The University’s two days 54th graduation ceremony which will be held virtually amid the outbreak of the global novel coronavirus pandemic is scheduled to commence on September Friday 18, 2020 and ends Saturday, September 19, 2020.
It entreats students who wish to participate in the 54th virtual graduation to upload a decent portrait picture (in formal wear) using the students’ portal here. KNUST’s deadline for picture upload is Friday, September 11, 2020.
According to the University, it will stream live the event on all social media platforms of KNUST and on YouTube for viewers who amid the novel transmitted coronavirus virus will not be permitted entry on campus.
