JHS 2, SHS 2 students vacate to end 2019/20 academic year
Prospective second-year Junior and Senior High School students who following President Akufo-Addo’s directive reopened school on October 5, 2020, will December 14, 2020, vacate to end the 2020/2021 academic year.
His Excellency in one of his nation’s addresses monitored by Georgeweb.org directed for Form 2 students in JHS and SHS to return to school to complete the current academic year and sit for their end of term examinations.
Nana Akufo-Addo, however, indicated that school would be reopened to learners in kindergarten, primary and first-year students in Junior and Senior High Schools next year January to start 2020/2021 academic year.
“Junior High Schools with a class size of 30 students will be able to complete the 3rd term and Senior High Schools with a class size of 20 will as well complete the second semester and vacate”, he said in the nation’s address.
