Alleged leaked 2020 WASSCE Integrated Science paper is fake – GES
The Ghana Education Service (GES) has described the viral 2020 WASSCE Integrated Science question papers alleged to be a handwork of the Akufo-Addo government in favour of this year’s prospective candidates as fake.
The opposition NDC Activists, Dzifa Gunu who first shared the suspected leaked WASSCE question papers on his Facebook timeline alleged that “the Akufo-Addo government is leaking the questions through the Headmasters of the various Senior High Schools as a way to prove the implementation of the Free SHS was fruitful.
However, the Ghana Education Service (GES) in a statement signed by the Head of Public Relations Unit, Cassandra Twum Ampofo and copied to Georgeweb.org explained that there is no WASSCE subject written by Ghanaian candidates called General Paper.
The GES spokesperson consequently urges all candidates to disregard claims of leakage of the WASSCE questions and concentrate on preparations towards the upcoming examination scheduled for Monday, August 3, 2020.
She assured that the non-profit-making organization responsible for the conduct of the West African Secondary School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) will never sacrifice the integrity of the examinations for any other expediency.
The statement said the Ghana Education Service (GES) has liaised with the West African Examinations Council (WAEC) to clamp down the unscrupulous persons behind the purported leaked fake question papers.
It further urged all candidates to rest assured that there will be no examination leakage as far as responsible men and women in charge of the questions are concerned.
