The Academic Board of the Ghana Institute of Journalism (GIJ) has approved for a general amnesty to be granted to all students of the Institute who have not graduated since 2013 and have there lost their studentship.
“Students who could not meet the requirements for graduation between 2013 and 2020 to complete their programme of study within the next 3 years have been granted amnesty”, the Board said at a meeting.
According to GIJ Management, the course registration starts from 1st to 18th December 2020 at the Academic Affairs Registry.
Affected students are required to make approved payments from January 4, 2021, to 4th February 2021 at any Fidelity Bank branch.
GIJ in a statement copied to Georgeweb.org said “attendance and participation in-class assignments and quizzes form part of the assessment. Affected students are also to take part in the end of semester examination”
