The Agency responsible for Pre-Tertiary education (GES), says it will after the recruitment of graduates from various Universities this year recruit others to replace current staff who are retiring out of the service.
The Deputy Director-General for Quality and Access of the Ghana Education Service (GES), Mr Kwabena Bempah Tandoh disclosed this in an interview with Daniel Dadzie on Joy Prime monitored by Georgeweb.org.
According to him, the Education Service has been granted a financial clearance to recruit (graduates) he did not disclose whether from Colleges of Education or University to replace people who are retiring out of the Service.
“After the recruitment of university graduates, we have a small financial clearance for replacement in terms of people who are retiring out of the service”, the GES official told host of beyond the Headlines, Daniel Dadzie.
The Ghana Education Service recently announced the recruitment of graduates who completed the College of Education in 2019 and had completed the National Service and passed the teacher licensure exam.
