Ghana’s Education Service (GES) says the purported statement signed by its Director of Human Resource Management Division indicating postings of 2017 and 2018 Colleges of Education graduates (CoE) have been released is false.
The purported release said, “Management wishes to inform all 2017 and 2018 trained teachers from Colleges of Education (CoE) that postings have been released with effect from October 28, 2020.
It added that “trained teachers who completed CoE in 2017 and 2018 and have no outstanding /referral paper, completed national service and have passed licensure are to visit gespromotions.gov.gh/ to access”
“An amount of GH¢10 is expected to be paid via MTN Mobile Money before teachers will be able to print out their posting details
Eligible graduate teachers to submit their printed document to the Regional Education Offices where they have been posted before reporting to their schools not later than November 15, 2020.”, the statement added.
However, GES in a post sighted by Georgeweb.org on social media said it has not shared any statement with all Regional Directors of Education indicating that postings take effect from 28th October 2020.
