GES lists achievements under Akufo-Addo government since 2017

The Ghana Education Service (GES), a government agency under the Ministry of Education at this year’s National Education Week has listed its top achievements under the Akufo-Addo government from 2017 up to date.
The National Education Week which commenced on 27th October and will end October 28, at Accra International Conference Centre is for all agencies under the Ministry to exhibit their achievements between 2017 and 2020.
Ghana’s Education Service (GES) among other achievements at this years Education fair indicated it in four years now has recruited diplomates, graduates, non-teaching staff, non-graduates and others to replace staff.
According to the Service, about 93,724 graduates have been recruited into service since the ruling New Patriotic Party government took over power from the opposition National Democratic Congress government in 2017.

However, some Ghanaians following the GES listed achievements have raised concerns about a claim that 6,500 graduate teachers have been recruited into service this year, while, no such recruitment has been done.
