The Ghana Education Service (GES) has temporarily closed down the self-placement module on the Computerised School Selections Placement System (CSSPS), the spokesperson of GES has said.
The Head of Public Relations at the GES, Ms. Cassandra Twum Ampofo in a statement copied to Georgeweb.org said the temporary close down is to enable the Service update the list of schools and programmes available on the module.
Ms. Cassandra Twum Ampofo indicated that the system would be live again on Thursday, September 12, 2019.
She added that all other modules on the school placement system are live and actively functioning.
“Students, parents, and the general public should therefore continue to access their placements. Management of GES wishes to sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused,” the spokesperson added in the statement.
