Graduate postings: GES cautions newly posted teachers of re-posting
The Ghana Education Service (GES) as a word of caution has advised all new teachers who already have been posted to serve at where service is needed in the country to desist from what is described as re-posting.
According to the Service, some unscrupulous individuals on social media who claims to be officials of GES are requesting newly posted teachers to pay a certain amount of money to be posted to their place of choice.
It in an earlier statement copied to Georgeweb.org said this year’s postings were made to fill specifically declared vacancies from the schools through the Districts and Regions and consequently, no re-posting will be done.
“The recruitment processes at National, Regional and District levels do not involve payment of money and so no newly recruited staff should pay any money in relation to the processes to any officer”, GES added in the release.

GES similarly has urged graduates who completed College of Education in 2017, 2018 or 2019, but has not been posted to remain calm as it works tirelessly day and night to release full postings at the appropriate time.
