The National Council for Curriculum and Assessment (NaCCA) in line with the Deputy Minister for Education, Dr Osei Yaw Adutwum has said the duration of Junior and Senior high school education remains unchanged.
The Council in a statement copied to Georgeweb.org debunked claims that the duration of the Junior and Senior High School Programme will from the 2020/2021 academic year be reformed.
The Council stated emphatically that with the planned implementation of the Common Core Programme in the next academic year, the duration for both JHS and SHS will remain three years each.
NaCCA, therefore, entreats the general public and stakeholders to disregard and treat such purporting publication as false reportage.
It further urged the media to take advantage of their open-door policy and engaged them to avoid misinforming the news consuming public on such critical matters.
