The West African Examinations Council says 2020 Nov/Dec candidates facing challenges in checking their index number, centre and other related issues are to contact the nearest WAEC office for immediate support.
The Council’s comment follows complaints by some candidates that they are unable to check for their 2020 Nov/Dec index number and centres.
“Please still the feedback I have when I check my index is invalid invoice number please what is wrong. Help me get my index number please”, a candidate said in our comment box.
The non-profit-making organization (WAEC), when reached out by Georgeweb.org on the issue, said the challenges may be as a result of incorrect details entered or typed at the cafe during the registration.
“Then it means incorrect details were typed at the cafe/centre during the registration. They will have to contact WAEC immediately for corrections”, the Council said in an email.
WAEC further said such candidates are to contact the nearest WAEC office or call (233) 302 208201-9 immediately for assistance.
Meanwhile, the 2020 WASSCE for Private Candidates examination has been scheduled to start from October 26, 2020, to December 17, 2020.
