The Management of the Accra-based Central University has announced a full-tuition scholarship to one contestant of the Presbyterian Boys Secondary School for winning the 2020 edition NSMQ for the sixth time.

Three boys schools namely Opoku Ware School, Adisadel College and Presbyterian Boys’ Secondary School competed for the trophy.

The champion had 36 points with Adisadel College placed second with 31 points and the Kumasi-based Opoku Ware placed third with 21 points.

Presbyterian Boys Secondary School were given GH¢10,000 cash prize as winners of the 2020 NSMQ competition among other packages.

The University, in a social media post sighted by Georgeweb.org, indicated the full-tuition scholarship is for a member of the winning team is for the duration of any undergraduate science program enrolled for.

The Accra-based private university said this forms part of its efforts to support the country’s most-watched television quiz programme this year.
