WAEC BECE timetable for September 2020

The management of the West African Examinations Council (WAEC) has released the official BECE timetable for the conduct of the 2020 BECE for school candidates scheduled for September 14 to September 18, 2020.
The West African Examinations Council (WAEC) postponed the conduct of the examination from its initial date to September amid the outbreak of the novel coronavirus in the country.
The Council in a statement copied to Georgeweb.org announcing the postponement of the Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) assured it would at the appropriate time communicate the BECE timetable for the relevant stakeholders and the general public.
According to a note attached to the BECE timetable, candidates will sit for both papers on each subject at one sitting without a break.
The Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE), 2020 will officially commence on Monday, September 14, 2020, and ends on September 18, 2020.

Prospective candidates will on Monday September 14 write English Language at 9:00 and Religious and Moral Education at 1:00 pm

1. Both papers for each Subject are to be taken at one sitting without a break.
2. DIFFERENCE IN TIME ON QUESTION PAPER AND TIMETABLE
Where the duration indicated on the question paper differs from that on the timetable, the one on the question paper should be followed.
3. EXTRA TIME FOR VISUALLY AND HEARING IMPAIRED CANDIDATES
Visually and hearing-impaired candidates should be allowed one and a half (1½) times the time allotted to other candidates.
